I am part of the engineering team at Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen (SRF). I work as part of a multidisciplinary team on SRF Meteo. I am interested in journalism and use my technical expertise to improve the digital products of SRF.

I was part of the Editorial Tech team at NZZ where I worked on tools which enable the newsroom to publish more visual stories. Furthermore I worked together with data journalists and designers on data-driven stories.
Project Assistant Climate Education

The second part of my civilan service I worked as part of the climate education team at myclimate, where I got to visit students from kindergarden up to high schools. The education program is called energy- and climate pioneers where the students are in the center. I teached about climate in general, what effect climate change has on our planet and finally how they can contribute to stop climate change.
Snow Sports Engineer

I had the chance to spend part of my civilian service at the Swiss Federal Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research Center in Davos. Over the course of six months I was able to work with highly skilled sports engineers. I was tasked with implementing a radar based speed measurement system which is used in many snow sport disciplines. In addition to this project I implemented a cross-platform mobile app providing important information in the snow making process.

If 60 to 70 percent of people are vaccinated, herd immunity against the coronavirus is likely to occur. In many countries, however, it will be years before that is the case. This story gives a worldwide overview of the current status. As part of a team of a data journalist, designer and me, I have developed two interactive graphics allowing the reader to compare the vaccination progress of multiple countries.
